maed, well, the fact that your dad was a danish-teacher explains a lot. damn, 2 hours? thought it was closer. I wouldn't say that Flensburg is at the border, I would say it is the border. been there a couple of times, buying booze and tobacco and such things. that's cigarette tobacco, if anybody thought it was something else.

Um... tobacco is tobacco... what else would it be?

well, it was mostly aimed at the scandinavian people. (Don't know if this violates any rules on this forum, please notify me if it does). In Scandinavia, or at least in Denmark, marijuana/hash is sometimes called funny tobacco. Thereby, I was just pointing out, that I didn't go to Germany, to buy marijuana/hash.
EDIT: maed, okay. just wondering, what's the speed limit on the autobahn? Heard a couple of years ago, that you could drive as fast as you wanted to. Has that ever been true?

It is great that war is so terrible... Otherwise, we may get to fond of it...

Well, the time you need depends... during rush-our there is always stop and go in and around Hamburg, but if the autobahn is free you can be much faster.
EDIT: Technically, you can drive as fast as you wish on the Autobahn. Although, if you drive faster than 130 km/h you will automatically be held partly responsible for any accident you are involved in; but on about 1/2 of the autobahn-network there is a speed limit of 100-120 km/h, sometimes less.

Damn you suck nukes...
Btw. we don't have adblock here at workomgwtfnm.
Speed limit on the german Autobahn is in standard not existant. There is a recommended speed of 130 and the part mentioned by maed, that is connected with it (responsibility, etc.). Otherwise there are enough other signs that will limit your speed in a specific location or part of that autobahn, so you only get to drive really fast, if there isn't anything to worry about (I mean in geographical context, like corners, hills or autobahn exits).
The "autobahn" in switzerland is limited to 120 always as far as i know.
