The gel blobs actually seem pretty efficient, to my experience... I've been using an old GeForce 7600 (just upgrading today), and my framerate wouldn't take any hit from the gel. A pretty consistent 20-30, in any situation.

I agree with Martin; a single four-cycle isn't nearly enough for the map to be anything special.

Hmm... not necessarily true. The transition doesn't work in multiplayer, but you can set the server to load the nether component of a map, so two could kind of do it together.

I have a question... is multiplayer allowed in the succession, as in passing the save file to a specific pair to play together rather than a single person?

I'd also be interested in the succession game, once those already involved are finished.
