It's all a scam, the RPS video, the blogposts, everything... jk. Regardless of the timeframe it's not like IV would ever make a bad game.

I only threw in Crysis, because for most at the time it came out, it was difficult or near impossible for them to play the game at a high graphics level without their framerate dropping to the 10-15 range. I like having good graphics in games too. Crysis was, performance issues aside That's the prob...

When you are in the heat of battle, or a heist in this case, you aren't looking at how pretty the textures are. You are looking out for your enemy, or your teammate. Graphics are there to support the gameplay which is the whole idea behind games. Does your Scrabble or Monopoly board at home have hig...

I use all 3 operating systems on a daily basis. My laptop computer is a Mac/Linux dual boot, and my desktop is a Windows/Linux. I think having the option, especially for indie game devs, to run it on any OS is a good idea. All those people that might not buy the game for either practical or ethical ...

NPC AI

I wonder how the AI will be set up, if it isn't then will the game be kind of boring. I mean if all the characters function in the same way then it would be too easy. Will there be a vigilante guard who thinks he is the owner of the bank. I think the human aspect of the game will be one of the more ...

Someone should half build a game, then let people fill in the rest. Or they should not fix any bugs, make the game open source and let the consumer fix the bugs themselves. I don't think that's a realistic idea about anything. Haha

I agree with above post, it would be like "hey team, how goes digging that hole? Oh good you're done" That would be boring. Unless of course it was a minecraft minigame to dig the hole.

If you look at Uplink, you didn't have to plan your course of attack, you just went in and did it. The only things helping you out are newer tools and the experience you got from doing the easier hacks until you were able to confidently approach a mission, yet it would still be a challenge. Of cours...

The character controls remind me of Darwinia, but he said there was no part of the game that was for sure going to stay that way. But even at this rough stage the game looks really awesome.

Having a double agent sounds more like part of a story line than part of the gameplay, it's a cool idea though, and the human element would be interesting if executed correctly and not made to be super formulaic, maybe using some simple fuzzy logic or something.

Maybe multiplayer would be like two teams, could work together cooperatively to completely a really big mission. Or two teams could work against each other, maybe like one working as security for the company, and the other team trying to break in. Or they could both be racing for the same objectives...

I don't see why a game has to have some novel concept to make it be worthwhile, (I'm looking at you, just about any FPS, ever). Even if it is not completely the most original game in history, if it is fun people will still want to play it. I don't know about you guys, but performing heists sounds pr...
