In 2009 I'm waiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:The Call of Prypiat. In general, I'd like to play HL2: Episode 3 (though I haven't played Episode 2 yet :))

Yep. Regular old radar coverage is enough. Only nukes, carriers and collateral damage can destroy them, though.

People don't see a big pinging object on their radar if you use passive subs. They see it even if there is no carrier around? Passive subs are stealthy, that's about it. They can however fire if provided with radar. I dont recommend it active subs are far more effective and the passive fireing is w...

Yes, it is. But nobody says that Uplink is a simulator. It's just a game for fun and that's it. But, imho, not an easy one. I haven't completed it yet)

As a beginner and a man, who played Silent Hunter III ;), I prefer "wolf pack" tactics: 6 subs attack a fleet. If there's few (1-2) carriers in the fleet, subs eliminate it. If more... Bad luck)
