small idea for simple visual appeal

Instead of having the big white blob that is a nuclear explosion on the map how about a smaller blob and then sends out a pulse like shockwave ring that dissipates (spelling?) as the ring expands and moves away from the epicenter. I just think it'd be a neat little feature to add more visual appeal.

Ventrilo is a great tool and as a member of the EU http://www.electronic-union.com we find it great for games. Instead of trying to get everyone in a game to go to ventrilo... simply get on our ventrilo and look for people to play with! Make sure to check out our forums and possibly arrange to plan ...

Hey Kim Jong Wilde, I do believe we have played quite a few times. :D I'd like to extend the invitation for people to check out the electronic union ventrilo, its where I go anytime I am going to have a game of defcon. Mikes and I play games all the time and find it great for coordinating and having...

I agree with poster.

I wish it was customizable no matter what teams are or defection options are too:

-set cease fire
-broadcast radar

the modders cant do anything about the game... they can only make new looks for the units, and make new maps... so until they make a new patch with this feature or the source code is released, we cant make it... Sorry meant to say developers... so used to playing mods of other games I just got used...

Only game mode i was interested in was "orders" sounds interesting because you have to pre-plan all attacks and just see how things turn out... are your allies really your friend or are they out to get you?

"Patrol command" for fleets

As most of us are RTS players here I do believe you all are framiliar with the "patrol" function many games have. It'd be nice to be able to select a fleet and have them patrol a set route from Point A to Point B then back until otherwise told to stop. It'd be most effective for ASW missio...

No I don't have trouble playing as Africa I am speaking from a simple strategic standpoint and saying Cairo is hanging out there and in Survivor games (which I tend to play) a major city being left to easy hits really hurts. I was not arguing against people who make valid points such as Africa's abi...
