Thought I'd have a little bit of fun with the web site http://www.everybody-dies.com/ and look what I found.

New Software - Voice Analyzer v2.0
A nifty feature I found very useful in the mod SimplyUplink was an added function to the Voice Analyzer program. It added a Save button to the programs window so you could save a recorded voice sample for later use. The saved voice data took up three slots in memory, and could be reused at any time ...

we are getting some what off topic here, and no answer to the original question, how high is IV's confidence that defcon will release in the month of september like the road map suggests? Hello?! Late September does not equate to mid-September. I'm sorry to stoop to being an ass, but betas are stil...

The Steam release of Darwinia was over a year after its initial release. He was talking about boxed copies of Darwinia sent out to those who preordered the very first run of the game. Oh, and quit posting these crappy threads to quench your anticipation. I can't wait for the Wii, but I'm not spammin...

Increase Transitions
This is more a suggestion than a bug, but transition speeds (for the program menu, emails sliding along the bottom of the screen, etc.) should be sped up a bit for the sake of usability. Turning button animations off in the graphics options makes the game so much easier to play, but it just doesn't ...

Unfortunately, Windows XP users are the dominant crowd in PC gaming (nowadays at least), so 32x32 is the desired icon size. Mac OS X and some Linux window managers go much bigger, though, so if you're going larger, you're aiming away from Windows. I should note, too, that Windows Vista does 128x128 ...

Updating to the latest version I think will disable the code card requirement as that's been taken out (or was it just for the Steam edition?). Introversion has been halting all third-party sales of Uplink.

v1.39 STEAM - Log_Deleter 2.0 acts like Log_Deleter 1.0
I find this odd. I had Log_Deleter v1.0, used that for a while. Then later bought Log_Deleter v2.0 and deleted the old version. When I first use the new edition, it acts like the older version by leaving a "Log Deleted" behind rather than a blank space. Has anyone else encountered this?

I smell fanboy ventilation problems. Is your ass-mar in check or are you just impatient?
Wait, who am I to talk, I'm a beta tester.

That's odd. I took the OpenGL32.dll file out of the uplink folder to reproduce the crashing once again, and the debug.log file wasn't updated. Just the errorlog. Here's the ERRORLOG file with the stack and context cut out (to save space), with the reference code in there: Uplink caused an Access Vio...

John, I think that did it. I put the OpenGL32.dll file in the Steam\SteamApps\common\uplink folder (with the uplink.exe file) and that seems to clear up the issue with the new patch. My debug.log file shows nothing more than things I did in 1.44 and 1.39, so it doesn't look like it would help anythi...
