Can I suggest you edit your post, er.. rather qickly, to remove your email, username and password from the public forum. Then use this link (available under 'support' on the introversion front page) http://www.introversion.co.uk/support/contactus.html You'll probably want to change your password aga...

but how would you select prisoners to issue commands on if they are out of line of sight? I don't think you should be able to issue commands to prisoners if they're out of sight. If you want to do something to a prisoner, move a guard to their area - that's how it works in real life. I don't think ...

Wrong subforum - for discussion of the alpha builds use the DEVELOPER subforum Apologies, I thought this forum was appropriate as I wasn't discussing alpha development or bugs, so much as asking how to use pipes and switches. But, I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds it confusing to have a Priso...

Valves and switches
Currently valves and switches seem to be a little bit... um... pointless, but perhaps I'm missing something. Has anyone found a good/interesting use for these items in the alpha?
Cheers.

[suggestion] Guards can also search cells
Apologies again if this has already been mentioned. Searching a cell can reveal following: 1. Contraband, weapons etc. 2. Tunnels (both completed and being built). 3. Other stuff? All searches could have % chance of discovery, so that better guards have increased chance of finding items (both in cel...

[bug] Entire prison lost (introduction overwrites autosave)
When I started up the game today, my prison had disappeared and I was back at the start. The last thing I did before exiting yesterday was to view the introduction sequence, which obviously overwrote the autosave file. My fault for relying on autosaves I guess, but a confirmation dialog would have b...

I like the idea of not knowing what's going on in my long line of cells until I march my guards up there on patrol. Now that I think about it, always knowing what's going on everywhere irks me. For those concerned about prisoners appearing/disappearing and prisons appearing too empty, perhaps instea...

[Suggestion] Line of sight for guards, cameras
Apologies if this has been suggested before, but searches haven't revealed anything. Simple idea: Prisoners cannot be seen (from overhead view) unless: 1. They are within line of sight of a guard (maybe staff member?) OR 2. They are within line of sight of a camera OR 3. They are wearing [very expen...

[Bug] Sacking unconscious staff
One of my guards got beaten unconscious, so I promptly sacked him for sleeping on the job. With the money saved, I can almost afford to build a medical station.
I haven't had other unconscious staff yet, but I suspect I can fire them all.
