Re: Ruleset
Okay, I've finished writing the ruleset. I don't know if it's fun, or just useless and stupid, so I'm not making a new thread until someone tells me it's actually any good. Here it is. Paperwinia: The Rules You know, I feel a bit insulted that you considered my Board Game rules too complicated, but...

Re: Multiwinia - The board game
With the severe limitation of units in the board game, there's no point in implelenting that. I don't think it's even true. Why, in that case, do Spawn Points have multiple Darwinian slots? The more slots you're controlling, the more DGs you get. Otherwise, you'd just be wasting DGs on the other sl...

Darwinia "MMO"
I've just had a brilliant idea for what would basically be a Darwinia MMO. No, not an MMORPG, MMOFPS, or whatever other crazy connotation is attached to "MMO", which stands for Massively Multiplayer Online, and basically means "A big ol' multiplayer game with lots of players in one bi...

Re: Multiwinia - The board game
- Capturing Spawn points: To capture a Spawn Point, move at least a Multiwinian on top of it. At the end of the move phase remove the Multiwinian from Play and place a coloured marker on top of it (to indicate ownership). Why must you remove the Multiwinian? Doesn't he need to stay and operate the ...

It'd be nice to get a badge for each IV game you own. Means that most people will feel special because they've got badges for their games. :D I also second the Mod Developer badge idea: a different one for each game. And the Ultimate Glowing Badge Of Ultimate Destiny, awarded if you do something rea...

Chess is also nothing like 40k. *wikis 40k* ... isn't 40k essentially just Chess: Awesome With Extra Pieces, Complicated Rules, Different Boards And Dice Edition? Both involve moving pieces on a board, killing other pieces, turns, strategies, and tactics. In 40k you could still theoretically have t...

IV were trying to make a massive, sprite based wargame. FutureWar was their first attempt, but it didn't work; it wasn't any fun. That was not what IV wanted to create, it was an attempt to produce what IV wanted to create. Multiwinia is not FutureWar. The design did not leap fully formed from Chri...

00Davo, I don't know how to help you. :( I can only help you if I will make another armor, but I don't really know if I should make one. I think the reason why I can't understand any of it is because the new instructions are a diagram, while the Multiwinian instructions were step-by-step. Because I...
