Re: Holding cell useless
Or how about Prisoners get escorted by guards that come on the bus to the Holding cell and from there your prisons guards grab them and bring them to their cells.

Re: [feedback] reform
It should be relatively equally affected among all the programs. Suppressed prisoners are prisoners who don't want to go to any courses. There are of course other factors that determine if a prisoner wants to go to classes but I believe most of that is behind the scenes stuff and shouldn't affect it...

Re: Janitors and laundry
I think Janitors only move laundry/ laundry baskets. I don't think they'll take laundry out of washers/ dryers or iron them but I don't pay that much attention. I know they will move laundry from laundry baskets to cells.

Re: Tools Cleanup grant
Its just a matter of your guards finding and confiscating a certain number of tools and weapons. You don't have to manually search these cells and as your guards find spoons and forks and the like on prisoners through metal detectors (I assume you have those) it'll get completed.

Re: Med issue
Could just be a bug that it's labeled that way. Guards usually put off storing prisoners in medical beds if they have other issues to attend to or when a prisoner is in lockdown/ solitary. So often times it can take awhile for prisoners to be grabbed and brough to the infirmary.
Re: Dog Sign
I've noticed this mainly when they dig to indicate that they think there's a tunnel there. Do note that dogs dig often and, very often, falsly indicate tunnels, so oftentimes along dog patrol routes there'll be a clutter of these things just wander scattered along it. I noticed this when I saw them ...

Re: [suggestion] Armory Policy
Most people don't seem to run on me unless they dig a tunnel or get a hold of keys during a fight/ riot. And even then they don't run. Try adding more doors and/ or closing doors you may have locked open. I have a road gate and a jail door between them and freedom and they never run. Furthermore dog...

Re: Bankruptcy problem
Yeah. I think the way its currently working is that cash you borrowed from the bank is not cash you own and thus bankrupt. Not so much a bug as an oversight or perhaps Chris trying to make it so that you don't rely on bank loans.

Re: [feedback] reform
Suppression is prob the cause here - suppressed prisoners don't want to take courses in general. When I sacked my armed guards/dogs the interest for courses shot right up. Also, some courses they cannot take without a previous course (I think) - so for carpentry you need to have completed workshop ...

Re: The new "play as a prisoner" feature.
It'd be cool if an AI attempted to fix your prison. Like it analyzed what's going on and logically attempted to fix it, ie, adding phone booths and visitation to the prison to fix family need, added chefs and various other things to attempt to help with the eatery. Naturally this will inevitably rui...

Are your cooks actually cooking the food or do they just sit there and faff all day?

Possibly just make it so escorted prisoners can't be brought through Staff Only areas unless there is literally no other way to escort them

Re: Gladiator fights
I agree the general consensus that it will probably never be part of the official prison policy, but I think this would make a great example of a random event (still hoping those are planned EN MASSE  ): Prisoners randomly getting into a fight for no apparent reason ("he looked at me ...

Re: Suggestion: Allow Janitors & Workmen to open Doors
Maybe this is something that they could add as another choice in prison policy and then everyone could decide for themselves. Obviously then they would have to deal with the consequences. Something like this could add another element of difficulty. Just like about every player, I enjoy having choic...
