Re: Resolution bug? Can't play game at all
Please, those of you having these issues, you have to post your hardware (especially graphics card, monitor, OS, and driver versions) otherwise it's all guesswork and impossible for us or IV to give any kind of help, much less figure out why this happens.

Re: [Suggestion] An option to stop the import of sheet meta
I saw a post giving that solution : ... That's a workaround, not a solution. It's the same with many other things in the game. Books are bought even when your library has a massive backlog and appears to be full, and not enough food is consistently bought because it only buys enough food for 1 day ...

Re: [Suggestion] Specialised Workshops
I've yet to see beds leave my prison. They make a ton of license plates, but the wood seems to just...disappear. It's not used. Of course there's not a whole lot of prisoners interested in the workshop program. Could be the reason I suppose.

Re: Tunnels before prisonners?!
... Put flooring in your hallways. Choose one of the floor types with moving speed "fast". This will allow your prisoners to reach things faster (or your guards moving faster to catch trouble makers). What I eventually did was marking hallways as common rooms and putting 2 telephone boots...

Why are my prisoners so dumb?
Is it normal for large max sec prisons to have stupid inmates? I can't get anyone through my education programs, which means no one can work in the library, which means the library is a giant mess. http://i.imgur.com/4vmngBw.jpg When you only 1 guy out of 372 prisoners who knows how to sort books, y...

Re: Deathrow inmate fell off hearse
Anyone have something similar happen and see what caused it? When hearses first were introduced (and for a while after) dead visitors would constantly slide off the back of the hearse and back into the road. Guard would move the body back to the morgue, then back to the next hearse, then they'd fal...

Re: Parole Rooms and Security Levels
Remember the security levels get screwed up every time you remodel, but it does sound like a bug. I've never had prisoners escorted to the parole room, though. They always go there on their own (and then kill the parole officer when they get denied).

Re: Inmates not being punished
... Oh so this! I really dislike having to keep a prisoner around that racks up years and years for killing his fellow inmates and prison staff. We need an in game mechanism to move these career criminals and serial murders to Death Row; one that does not involve manually editing the game and that ...

Re: Is there a way to prioritise a task in the job queue?
<snip> Just an FYI - guards deployed to a room (not on a patrol route in the room) are the first people to be tapped to open a door in that room. Its can become a little broken because doors and walls can sometimes become their own little 'room' (sec level can be set = is a 'room') meaning that for...

Re: Gangs & "follow/unfollow prisioner"
Maybe when the current issues with performance and inefficient pathing are fixed, gangs can be implemented. The thing with having a bunch of prisoners doing anything as a gang is that it'd require a lot of work for the AI to coordinate what they do. Otherwise you just end up with gangs being a conce...

Re: Second road or road control
Tanks are long-range siege vehicles or anti-tank cannons, depending on model... what on earth would be the point in bringing them to a prison? Sure a 250 mm projectile can make a few prisoners go splat if you can hit them, but you'd also have massive collateral damage. Thus you don't use them agains...

Re: Tunnels before prisonners?!
Well, no one passes my education programs, but then I mainly have max sec in this one prison because it seemed more challenging ... I don't know if this is a weird layout...but the tunnels are always in this one area. http://i.imgur.com/cHQvcEK.jpg It's not a perfect layout, but it works semi-decent...

Re: Make Execution room not valid patching room
Don't think what you're asking can be easily done. If the room was to be off-limits to the DR guys, then they wouldn't be able to go there for their own execution. From your description it sounds like your problem comes from your design/layout. Without a screenshot I only have to guess, but sounds l...

And make it possible to let the prisoners work with the gardeners to maintain it all. Really bothers me there isn't an horticulture program. It would fit with all the other stuff we can make prisoners take care of. Esp so we can get the prisoners to look after the trees too (think Chris said once it...

Re: Bug or feature: Perimeter walls cut off utilities ?
Feature. The point of a perimeter wall is to slow down tunneling prisoners (among other things). Running utilities under the wall kind of defeats the purpose. xander Thans Xander :) Just wanted to check before I reported it :P I weren't paying attention when the perimeter walls were put in, they we...
