Well, for Port Forwarding, I recommend using this giude: http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WRT54G/default.htm for Triggering, this is what it is: http://www.portforward.com/help/porttriggering.htm (This explains it better than I can) If you really need help with it, ...

From what I've read, DEMO users can spectate any size or type of game, just not join in the bigger games or games with different options.....I think :?

Port Triggering won't really have any effect if your ports are forwarded properly, but I suppose you could try it, Triggering is basically forwarding but it only opens the port when triggered from behind the router, (I think)

The only thing I can suggest is asking somebody on here if they wouldn't mind trying to join your game, if you'd give them your IP. Have you tried using different ports other than the default ones?

I know you said your friend got other people in his game no problem, but if your settings are absolutely correct, then I would say the problem is his end. Is it possible that too many people tried to connect at the same time and that's why you didn't get in? *EDIT* Does he run Peerguardian 2? I supp...

I thought that I managed to make an alliance with one of the AI opponents in my first game, I pressed the alliance thingymajig, it didn't work the first time, but when I pressed the alliance thingy again, it allowed me to tick the box that appears. Was that not an allian...

Software firewall running? Also, make sure the port forwarding/DMZ is directed to the correct LAN IP....you've probably already done those, but they're an easy thing to miss and often overlooked

I could imagine somebody creating a screensaver of the game playing......won't be me, of course, I can't do anything like that, but from what I've read, a few of the people here could do it. As for the reaction....get him to set up a webcam pointing to his workstation, then he can post the vids onli...

I have to admit to being a tad "unsure" about the gameplay at first, but after having played some games against the CPU and spectating on a few games, those feelings have mostly been extinguished. Of course, reading some of the threads in the Strategic Air Command forum have helped greatly...

Re: Some suggestions

*The possibility to send a beacon/signal/ping of some sort on the map to allies. It would work similar to the nuke launch, only with a different symbol and colour. This way, you could let them know where their attention is needed. That would also alert your backstabbing allies to where they could k...

Boxed version could take up to a month to get to me :(

It's no big deal, mainly because of the downloaded version and the key they sent to me. A little irking, sure, but at least they had the decency to contact us to let us know how long it *could* take. It's good to see at least one company out there has excellent customer relations, most bigger compan...

Question about the radars

If I destroy all the opponents radars, would they still be able to launch air defence? In theory, if I destroy the radars, then they shouldn't be able to detect the missiles, or am I wrong in thinking this?
