Most of the places with higher suicide rates than the US also ave stricter gun control laws (Japan, England, etc), so I'm not sure it would really prevent much compared to the burden it would impose.

It's been unusually cold here on the Eastern US sea board. Snow storms almost until April, freezing temperatures, etc. Man is not meant to live like this.
