Use the sear-

Hi. You may be right - a kick (or ignore?) function would be nice. No player id's add to the general silly behaviour of some players. Its amazing what a captured audience and anonyminity can bring out in some people! (tho early all my games have been fine!)

yet to be convinced that defcon is a clan game. So many attempts to get leagues and stuff goin and all have failed. Did anyone actually use defcon 42? http://defcon.portal42.net/ Seems to be a functional ladder system but not one game..? Not sure how a clan in defcon would work. 2v2? 3v3? Most defco...

Nice PR in london
Hiya, While on the tube back home last night i was reading the free paper (London Lite i think) and was happy too see a great review of defcon in a box out. Highlighted the mac release, said how cool a game it was, and generally encouraging people to play it :P Seems the new release is really helpin...

Without an ability to vote or kick players off a game, then the game is wide open to abuse from general idiots. It is important to have these features so that the community can self regulate its players. Imagine a game like counter strike or battlefield without kicking commands - It doesnt bear thin...

Looking very interesting. Gameplay wise like others i'm guessing maybe hacking different building from distance, moving and directing agents around the city like darwinia down to indoor layout, perhaps placing bugs to enable hacking a server..? and finally in keeping with defcon, the ability to laun...

Fair enough ace. I did feel a bit bad after making that post, I realised perhaps I was a little defensive. It's just a slightly frustrating situation, but i'm sure it will be sorted. Also I appreciate the amount you give to the defcon community and totally respect that. Keep up the good work ;) edit...

Benefits for me were it was simple, quick, and patches are handled automatically. I didn't have to wait for mail order, i got the game instaneously. Downsides are that I now can't play the game. On a side note. I would prefer to not have to see you so steadfastedly defending IV. I find many of the p...
