I can't feasibly think of any situation where knowing the correct slang term for a carbonated soft drink in states of the US is ever going to serve any purpose. At least with the Peltier effect you could cool some electrical components, or something. This thread is one example. To amuse and wow fri...

I've watched almost as many multiplayer games as I have actually played. I found it to be the best teacher of strategy. That particular game was more enjoyable than some multi/single player games I've played. especially when its against (Demo)New Player. Who is that guy anyway? I ponied up the $17.50!

No, it's not that. Although upon looking through several of the related pages I found the Peltier Effect, which is what I believe I was thinking of. I stand by the fact that I can find endless pages of crap on google but you can either never find useful things or pages on these things don't exist. ...

Someone has spent the time to not only survey areas of the United States but also set-up a website about this. Yet I can't smegging find the name of the Electronics phenomena, which when using two large pieces of metal with differing resistances one piece becomes incredibly hot and the other incred...

Surely it would be 'Soda' versus 'Pop', as Cola and Coke would generally refer to carbonated beverages flavoured with caramels rather than any carbonated drink such as Tango. Bah, curse my looking up synonyms for soft drinks. I would have been first I tells ye! No. In the south, coke can refer to a...

Fun fact: a dirigible is any rigid, areostatic airship. That is, any airship that stays aloft due to boyancy, rather than lift created by areodynamic surfaces, and has a rigid shape, is a dirigible. Zeppelin was originally a brand name, but, like Aspirin or Kleenex, it became genericized, and is ge...

I can't remember if I've played you (Iddqd), I couldn't find any screenshots. I don't always get a chance to save them though. I do however have one of a game I spectated where you and two others launced simotaniously at KimJong who was in 1st (with 100) and subsequently dropped to last. It was one ...

Maybe aliens will invade and everyone will form into one massive army. Then we can go from planet to planet and take over galaxies. The truth is that we have already fought the next big war, and subsequently lost. We are now being bred and used for energy. The aliens that will invade will find only...

P.S: I approve of you Red Dwarf avatar and user name by the way. ;) Thanks. Playing the arcade as a youth up till Defcon, I've always used 'ACE' instead of my initials. Corny I know. Stumbled upon Red Dwarf several years ago and, well, 'updated' my moniker. I have noticed another 'new' forum user w...

Well, I couldn't really call myself 1/2 native American, as my native american ancestry goes back a bit but seeing as my mum was born and raised in America then moved here, my American ancestry is not that far away. Seeing as I have both British and American citizenship I can in fact say that I am ...
