How difficult would you beta testers consider the bots in this game? I doubt you guys would be breaking NDA by saying "difficult", or "meh".
I want to install this on my no-Internet laptop as well, but was wondering if it was worth the hassle if you can waltz over the AI.

I have a 1440x900 Monitor, and I sure hope Defcon supports it as well. I'll believe the "Anything you can throw at it" bit when I see it.

You'd be better of sharing your Defcon CD with your friends (just copy the CD with the keycode, don't hand it out to too many friends), instead of allowing them access to your Steam account.

Judging from what we've read so far, I'd say you should immediately launch several nukes at a silo the moment it starts launching. Better to sacrifice a one or two subs to prevent the enemy from launching up to twenty(?) nukes.

Subs are hidden until they fire their nukes. So if you launch the nukes in your silos, wait for retaliation (make sure you found all his subs so he can't do the same to you), you can use your subs to kill of his silos. Then bomb the shit out of him with airplanes and your remaining silos.
