Gateway_Order: DON'T bump old topics. Yes, this is a General forum, but we don't take kindly to topics that have dropped off the first page being resurrected without a good reason. If they are as old as that one, we don't accept any reason. If you had somehting worthwhile to say, start a new topic. ...

Wow, two hours and no real flame for having bumped a 2 1/2 year old topic..... Things are changing around here.... That or the vets are just too busy with *another forum* to keep up the flaming here.... ICE: Please lock this, or at least move it; we know what's gonna happen. You may want to have a c...

Well, you mentioned it more in the middle.... a start I guess  Darwinia is IV software's new game. Not much was known until recently, except that it was basically an FPS, just IV-style. Now, however, there is a brand-spanking new site at http://www.darwinia.co.uk . Get the lowdown on it there,...

1.) Learn to use the EDIT button: instead of double-posting, add what you want to say onto what you already *have* said. That's the way we like it in these here parts. 2.) We don't care if you like chicken. The rest of the post was surprisingly readable, but you really spoilt it at the end there. An...

Got away with reviving topic <off-topic> I don't know how you guys have managed it without it getting closed, or, at the very least, flamed. I'm impressed. However, perhaps the fact that it is really only you three bothering to play any more may be worth noticing... Much as I wanted this game to bea...

WHY COULDN'T THE JAYGEES AND BENO HAVE BEEN MORE LIKE YOU!!! /me sobs for the lack of decent posters who have joined here under a year or so ago... I know I haven't actually been here that long myself, but I have suffered all the more recent trolls. If only more people on the net were like you, Muji...

Like he said. Uplink, brilliant and original as it is, is not that clever. The storyline happens no matter what (ignoring a few glitches people have found in the past), and is irrespective of what you do outside the framework. I haven't tried it, and would doubt all that many of us have, but that is...

First, you've arrived kinda late to say "how did this forum get so popular?" - it got popular quite some time ago, and the one and only reason was, surprise surprise, because of the game the website was created for. In case you didn't realise, Uplink has been around since late 2001, depending on exa...

I would imagine it is very closely linked to the start of the Darwinia forums. The exact reason... could be that there are more requests per second, or that the darwinia site is sucking up more bandwidth, or something else again. But I would put money on the Darwinia site being to blame. Perhaps som...
