I would like this also. I would prefer if it was not the chefs that delivered it. The delivery should be handled by inmates or guards. It would really serve it's purpose (no pun intended) if you could designate a cell block to be either delivery based or canteen basedm so you could have gen pop in t...

I quoted you because I agree with you. It does occur on a limited basis, but never on a permanent scale. I did say "jail" and not "prison" there is a distinction between the two. Prisons house long term offenders whereas Jails house people who are near release or are making freq...

When it comes to searching the post and cells there should be a slider where you choose how thorough the search is. The more thorough it is the less likely they will be able to smuggle something in but it will also decrease the prisoners freedom meter and will take longer. If you set it low it will...

Eh? Cops going undercover in jail has happened often enough when dealing with prisoners getting to talk about things such as hidden money or bodies... that sort of thing. The cops wouldn't break their cover just to rat out another prisoner's cell phone. I don't see how undercover cops could be inte...

Whether or not it's used in real prisons doesn't really matter, I mean people are going to dig tunnels out of the prison. Chris himself said that it doesn't even really happen, but it's interesting. I still think it matters. IIRC then Chris said that because it was iconic prison lore then tunnels w...

Screening room and cell searches

I think these options would be fun and realistic ways of dealing with contraband. Screening room Cost: The screening room would have to be build and require permanent staff, so it would be costly to run. Benefit: The assigned staff would screen incomming mail for contraband, and be especially effect...

I dont think that undercover agents are used a whole lot inside prisons, but the same mechanic could somewhat be made with snitches. I'm all for snitches! :D

Great! As I said I was not trying to sound like I was mad or anything, I was just wondering. I must have missed those posts that were made while I've been here. But all I really needed to hear was that the posts were seen. I'm glad I made this post and had my concerns disproven. Makes me much more e...

Do the devs ever read or respond to this forum?

I was just wondering. I've been here for about a month now, and I have yet to see a dev respond to any of the threads in the "developer forum". I'm not trying to be provocative, it's just that one of the things that made me buy the Alpha was the possibility of contributing to the game with...

iI agree with all of it, besides having to manage staff needs. That one I could do without. :)

I don't like the idea. the prisoners shouldn't be categorized in that way. Think of that: some very heavy bad guys see there is a small weak green clothed prisoner. I can't imagine what they would do with him. If you mean that different clothes should be there only for visuals (and not gameplay), I...

I agree that there should be some sort of shop for the inmates. I dont think they should get contraband there though. It is manned by staff and they dont sell contraband in there. IMO contraband should get in through visitation, the mail and (corrupt) guards. I dont think that a big tradeoff is need...
