I want this feature. Actually, watching code being developed IS a good learning experience. It's extremely rare to see a commercial game's source code change with each release. You can see how features correspond with each part of code, how everything's working together, what libraries are used, and...

I don't think the game isn't on Steam yet. Steam keys might be issued later.

I think it's not very expensive feature development-time wise, but still definitely a no during Alpha. However, if everyone is (I am being serious) going to chip in $5 or more for this feature, I think it's possible some time. Maybe as an add-on.

I have asked for this in the big idea thread, but you seem to go beyond and ask for the numbers directly.

I see a new reason to beat prisoners up: "repeated toilet flushing" :D

Sometimes you have to disregard what people tell you that they want, for their own good. Spoken like a true politician. I've been served with this crap too many times in my life. :D But yes, I'd like to have "clean up" debug command and memory/job/queuing count displays so I'd know why th...

You have to consider where the game goes wrong. It could be CPU, RAM, or even GPU in some cases.

And yes, this game is currently not optimized in terms of performance.

Guards Patrol Guard Distribution : Currently, the guards on patrols don't spread out along the patrol paths. They all clump together, not providing enough coverage. Suggestion: Implement some way to determine "division points" on a path, and, in case of two-guard path, place one guard at a...

Have you checked the security levels of those cells? You might have to designate cells to low sec to accommodate low sec prisoners, etc.

One tutorial level that shows some concepts of the game should be enough for a demo, but that should be done when the game is out of the alpha.

Then Chris comes and points everyone to download a text editor and C compiler of their choice.

I'd actually appreciate a "campaign designer", "scenario editor", or something like that in the future, though.

Something I want to add is that prisoners should gain skill over time, making work faster. There could be a single skill bar to keep things simple.

I always wonder though, why don't we put prisoners to work on cleaning their own yards?
