Re: [Suggestion] - New reputations

Here to drop more traits, mostly bad, but you might be able to use some against other prisoners. - Locksmith: can pick himself off a cuff after some time. The best way to contain this kind of prisoner is to keep him locked or chained behind strong doors. - Hacker: (already suggested?) Tend to tamper...

Re: Administrative Guards

I think there should be a new staff member: "Technician" He monitors all the door control system, cctv, phone tap, etc. What do you think? EDIT: He also interrogates Confidential Informants Agreed. Call them technicians and give them an in-between role between guards and workmen. I think ...

Re: (Suggestion) First day in prison - Special schedule

Some sort of processing or prisoner pipeline has been suggested before. I think your idea can join those. I even expect prisoners to take special schedule in processing for some time before being actually placed in a cell and set into normal daily life. (Medical check, etc.)

Re: {SUGGESTION} Multiplayer and Battle Mode

Why [exaggeration]everyone has to suggest all games[/exaggeration] to become multiplayer, and all multiplayer games to become PvP?!

Seriously, this is why I don't want to play ESO, DayZ, etc.

Re: [SUGGESTION] Prison Standards of Operation

I think the "privilege removal" could be easy enough. If rec time is lost, then all work and free regime times become lockdown for that guy. Policy tab would allow incremental punishment, and so on. Processing rules like searching and placement have been suggested many times. The cell bloc...

Re: Why do you guys want execution so much?

Because death row and execution are also functions of a prison. It's supposed to be not entertaining. We should be pushed or coerced by the State to build such facility. We should be pushed to research for a more humane execution method. We should hear individual confessions from a prisoner. There s...

Re: [Suggestion] Multiple Foremen and Psychologists

I think in the future, to remain true to the real world (a little, as too much realism is not good), each Foreman should be able to oversee a large (anything larger than 12 squares) construction or utilities project to boost the speed. Then, having multiple foremen would be beneficial.

Re: In RL all available guards help with a fight ...

I agree that all guards nearby should try to break the fight automatically without waiting for player input.

Maybe severity of a fight could affect the response range, with a full riot calling in every available guard, even those in the break room.

Re: Outside Light

Torches? What is this, "medieval prison architect"? They are using flashlights and nothing else. British English But yes, I think lights should be a factor that affects movement speed, environment evaluation, safety evaluation (prison too dark is deemed unsafe, etc.). "Good" pri...

Re: Suggestion: Allow Janitors & Workmen to open Doors

Alternatively, you can right click on doors to manually open them without the need for a guard. This is my strategy. I put jail doors in any room that could potentially be accessed by prisoners, but keep them locked open most of the time. This works better than staff doors or ordinary doors in the ...

Re: [Suggestion] Electrical Wiring Crossover

Actually I don't want the crossover junction. I want the player to manage each phase separately, with each phase never shorting when overlapped, unless the overlap is on the generator's output terminals themselves. It would allow far larger, more complex prisons to be constructed. This is due to my ...

Re: [suggestion] creative mode

A good idea that should be implemented into the game. It can work really well as a level or scenario editor.

It doesn't mean less challenge, though.

1. Build a megaprison.
2. Put angry rioters inside.
3. Spawn Armed Guards
4. ???
5. Profit

Even more profit: export the level and everyone can enjoy

Re: [suggestion] Group-assign prisoner/guard regimes

Logical grouping at cell-block level would be nice. The game can already detect presence of cell blocks, so let's assign blocks A B C and so on, then give a regime to each block. I think it's more in line with real prison management, especially when multiple cell blocks in same security level have t...

That's going to be the purpose of my new, purposefully rough concrete security room.

I'd assign them to a special cell where my guards can release their anger all day.

Actually, this "special contract" could result in a further complication for the prison. Medicine test can be fatal, and it can be controversial to stuff them into an ailing prisoner's routine medication, telling him this is a new medicine he must take. I'd love to build a prison where act...
