Of course, back then one did not have fancy stuff like functions, objects or data-structures. One had numbered lines, and no need to declare variables whatsoever. For what I saw, the ZX Spectrum is from 1982. There were at this time a lot of programming languages already, most of these having varia...

That, of course, is totally wrong No, it is not. As I said before: Sure, there are plenty of ways to split the work, but the management overhead will extend, not shorten release dates. Yeah, so if in my employer's company, the 50+ plain time skilled developpers working on our product were fired to ...

It's also not the sort of problem that can be solved faster by throwing more programmers at it. That, of course, is totally wrong. Almost any developpment (except for the very tiny one like single function or so) can be split. Actually, developping many features is easy to split, giving that the in...

Go ask in the alpha (actually named "Developper") forum. There are already many topics answering that kind of question there.

Clearly you don't understand economics or what I was talking about. The $.05 worth of production (which is more like $5.00) would only apply if the stole it from the devs office. a retailer would likely pay about $30 for a game they would retail for $60 for every 1000 units sold they would factor i...

The thing that needs to be remembered is this type of theft is not the same as walking into a store a stealing physical merchandise (This is factored in to business cost as shrinkage), or stealing property from someones house. There is no actual cost to the owner of the IP other than a potential lo...

Sometimes you have to disregard what people tell you that they want, for their own good. Some of us are genuinely testing this game, in order to feed back bugs and suggestions to the devs. To my mind, that is what an Alpha test build is for. The majority are not doing this, they just want a new The...

I've read costs arguments, which is the "If I want something, I can take it, even if a law tells me the opposit". Well, if you go with that, you can almost legitimate anything. Being virtual does change anything, because it stills has a build cost. And creators have the right to be rewarde...

OpenGL Version : 1.5.0

I think it requires at least an OpenGL 2.1 capable device.

It'll be implemented, of that you can be sure. It's all a matter of priorities, and the tribe has spoken on this one. Debug tools and cheats next 9.6% [ 19 ] More game features next 83.8% [ 165 ] I want it all, and I want it now 6.6% [ 13 ] It's very clear what people want, and it's not the debug t...

Some weeks (months?) ago, they launched a poll asking if we'd prefer a debug menu or new features in the nexts builds. Result was new features. So I don't think it's gonna be implemented.

And then, women could give birth to babies. And babies could be put in oven or in garbage! Or more likely just in the freezer.
