for me - i had simllar but depends which case - if i done in night - its finsihed before prisoners wake up
but i would prefer a lockdown zones - example you lock down area near Death row

i agree - hallways in prison should be cleared but its shouldn't flare up the anger when its locked down for Death row Chief and warden should went to execution chamber not to cell also there should be a separate room for visitors to sit and see the death happening also some death rows have showers ...

in one hopstial chapel - there is normal chairs - some hopstials have big chapel with pews and space for bed trolleys also prayer mats but those wasn't seen in my local hopstial but possibly behind closed screen doors
