I seem to be getting an email every time someone does something on Mantis to a bug I've commented on. I've unsubscribed from all email alerts in preferences but it's still happening.

Assuming you've bought the game you should have access to the Alpha forum which has answers to nearly every question really :) If you're having trouble activating there are a couple of stickies at the top of this forum that can help. There is also a rotate object thread in general a bit further down...

I don't want random events. Or if there are "disasters" then they should be option as per other Sim games. I would like further complexity in utility mode, but I understand balancing that level of complexity and micromanagement is a difficult call when it comes to appeasing the playerbase....

When you look at the features they are trying to code and implement to give the game more depth, single player scenarios, door locking systems, prisoner personalities, more items, more gamemodes. There's no way at all they should be spending time fixing what are ultimately minor bugs with the UI ahe...

Indeed you can.

Although they appear to be a bit over-powered at the moment, so I expect them to be nerfed in the future.

They want constructive feedback. Your posts haven't particularly been that. If you're unhappy purely because there isn't much to do, then your expectations for an Alpha (paid or otherwise) were misguided. And nobody else has reported being sat twiddling their thumbs, in fact, people are reporting th...
