Further testing sees the "Freedom" need not being an issue with a single hour of Freetime in the regime. Which most of the prisoners use to sleep.

Yeah, it's a great film. A bit old now though.

Have been playing about with this further as I've created a mini self-contained prison block to see how well it works compared to my normal "separate rooms and lots of freetime" builds. http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/1378/48524307.jpg It runs fairly smoothly, the only interesting thing...

You've always been able to move an object by selecting it then right clicking it somewhere else.

Head Chef / Chef Report?

This many meals were prepared, this many were eaten, this many were healthy, this many weren't. This is how much it cost, this is how busy the cooks are during eating periods.

A planning/blueprint mode so you can see where you'll spend the next lump of money that comes in.

Watching your prison run like clockwork and enjoy it.

It's hard to add in optional complexity, with any function in the game. You want a prison to function as long as the basics are done, further complexity and micro-management should just further improve the efficiency, whether that's holding more prisoners, or making more money, or whatever the goal ...

To be honest I don't care at all for storylines or scenarios, they don't interest me whatsoever. I'll only ever play PA as a sandbox builder.

There should be a pre-purchase test. All potential customers are issued with a small free demo. And without any tutorial guidance you have to use your own abilities to navigate and use the UI to create a powered office and hire a warden. If you can't figure it out within a certain timeline, you're t...

I'm sure this will be developed as part of future rehabilitation plans and prisoner classification and personalities.

I don't know to what degree though. I've been playing too many RPGs recently so I could see a prison wield a +10 strength "shiv" :?

A few too many "big boned" inmates?

Across several different games I've noticed that the majority of my prisoners seem to be of the "husky gentleman" build.

Co-incidence? Or are chubbers the majority on purpose?

And this is before I start feeding them bacon 5 times a day!

A Hospital mod obviously already has a huge potential customer base because of Theme Hospital (and the utter failure that was Hospital Tycoon), I just think that won't be exploited if it's just a fanmade mod for a Prison game. Fanmade mods will keep me happy though. Just need to get creative now and...
