without patrols set, the deployment of guards outisde is fairly pointless as they just gather all in one location. but im sure that can get changed. If you feel there is a bug you should log it in the tracker. Posting here won't do much. i do log the bugs I find, but some people come to the forums ...

you could assign a prisoner to the death row zone and he'll be added to the list haha No member of the prison staff, warden or otherwise, has the legal right to do that. no but game wise you will be told that the prisoner has been sentenced to death and thus you will then assign them to that zone o...

in the "what shall we inpliment next" poll thread theres mention of prisoner classification so im sure this kind of thing will get created and tied together. I think once classifications and zoming etc is sorted it'll all flow really nicely. If zoning comes in then i guess you could assign...

how would zoning work exactly. for example would a canteen be a neutral zone that any prisoner can go to during an eating period but then they have to go back to their cell block?

or would it be dividing the prison up with multiple zones each with their own facilities?

really? you guys really think it works that often that well? If i lay a length of piping its not unusual that i'll have to relay large parts of it 2/3 times. Sometimes it'll say no materials yet its surely getting ordered? but once its arrived in delivery they wont use it until you reorder the build

when you tell the guards to look after the ouside, the points it deploys are all next to each other in one location. So you end up with 2/3+ guards just standing on top of each other. Once i have patrol routes bought that should fix it but it should be a little better implimented I think

I know some feel this reply is getting old, but it is still valid. This is only Alpha 2. There is still much to be done, and until then we can helpfully submit bug reports and wait patiently for them to be fixed. You could also post screenshots and allow us to help you fix your problem by redesigni...

Biggest Build Annoyance

Does no one else feel like the biggest annoyance at the moment is the amount the building of items fail? I spend most of my time having to cancel and replace the items im trying to build. Sometimes you place a long wall and random sections just turn red and claim they were tried and failed a load of...

I wouldnt mind if they rocked up on the next bus but nothing longer. Most other games of this type involve instantly dropping staff into gameplay and it works well.

haha ah yeah I remember the staffing! They all looked identical except maybe a sliiiight change but some would be arrogant lazy gits while others were practically saints! I'd quite like that in PA actually. Nothing will ever be quite as panic driven as having 8 bloated heads coming in via air ambula...
