developers have to price games in a way that they can make enough money to at least live/finish the game. if you want to play, you pay the price. if you dont, you dont

They're asking more than the likes of Minecraft or Torchlight 2 for people to test their game . Which quite frankly sounds like they misunderstood the point of these kind of alphas to begin with.. I don't get your point at all. you'll get the finished product as part of the price you pay now anyway...
