How much to IV read the developer forums?

I was just curious to how much IV read these forums?
And if they do, how much do they "take in"?
Are they going straight ahead on their own design or can the threads in here change how they develop the game?

It's got nothing to do with my first-world sensibilities. I'm fully aware of the sorts of things certain governments do to prisoners, and the terrible conditions in certain prisons. However, there's a time and a place for political discussion, and this is not it. Did I miss something? when ...

IMO they should add a cost to the fences. Perhaps a small one but it should exist just for the cause of immersion. =P

Bloody hell, have I took the time machine back to more innocent times or have I inadvertently stumbled into the North American South West? "Amorality of cartoon nudity", There's nothing "amoral" about nudity period. Nor is there such thing as objective morality. There was nothin...

think there will be coming a whole lot more of this as the game goes on in development. I mean i hope to see stuff happen for that. But also that prisoners try to tunnel out, digg out, somehow escape. It should be made so that can happen. Then ofcourse we need disasters like earth quakes, power fai...

The gaming industry really lacks these kind of simulation games.. so I'd definatley give it a go. I haven't played a great simulation game since RCT3 and that was like almost 10 years ago.

Try the developer forum if you bought the alpha. That is where bug reporting is done right now.

Most people seem to dislike it though. You polled all alpha users? Wow, I'm impressed. Especially since I never got to give my input yet you knew how I felt about the matter... I said "Most people seem" not "most people do". And for FYI that comes from askin...

For me its the feeling that the game is trying to create, there has been lots of talk that IV were looking to make a Bullfrog style game...and if so I felt that the cut scenes were more serious than they needed to be. I kinda liked the humour that bullfrog games brought to the table, and have felt ...

I guess in real life it would be a similar matter, you could not really lay a major pipe under an existing building. But if the pipe existed first you could place a build on the pipe. Not saying its right or anything but maybe there was some logic behind the design......or maybe its an overlooked b...

[Bug] cancelling building an item does not give money back

... even if you haven't received the item yet. I built a capacitator and then it got bugged (the capacitator didn't come for 2 days). So I tried to cancel it. Didn't get any cash back and the item was gone.

Yeah, the IGF build actually allowed this I think. I'm confused as to why it was changed. Simple construction is now much more difficult than it used to be. The "REQUIRES ENTRANCE" stuff is really annoying. Really? I thought it was a huge programming mistake that they haven't had time to ...
