Well yeah - "sway" - or rather input. You usually have a board of people for parole hearings. Doctors, wardens, employees.

Yeah the art - both ingame and polaroid fits the game incredibly well. I'd love to see similar art styles in Dwarf Fortress one day - well the sprites anyway :P

No - You are a WARDEN, not a JUDGE. You take care of the prisoners - whatever their destination may be. You don't get to judge and decide their fate.

I'd love to see employees have a similar system to inmates - possibly even a "time table" schedule so you'd have to employ enough people for guard shifts et cetera. (Lower wages to balance of course) Would be awesome fun to have a staff only canteen that prisoners would try and break into ...

I've got the same problem, this is clearly a bug. Well actually - Workshops being slow isn't as much a bug, as the entire game is suffering from large queues in general. Try making a 100x100 foundation, or queue up loads of floor changes. As Chris mentioned in another thread, we are really pushing ...

No - A demo should never intentionally show off unimplemented or buggy features. A demonstration should be limited in scope for but all intents and purposes be fully functional within said scope. :)

Why? You'd be surprised how harshly people judge demos - even alphas/betas.

Truth with modifications - It has been in alpha for two years or so. It "should" run on most machine - it's the ingame features that are the issue.

Funny - when I queued up four cell blocks (that's 8 cells worth of beds, lighting, toilets, televisions, floors, doors and grass outside) I didn't have any problems. Sure it took forever.
