If you aren't sure what graphics card you have, you could try using GPU-Z ( http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ ). I tried to run the game on an Core2Duo Laptop with a Intel graphics cards and it didn't work. Should run on the GMA3000 onward though (probably even the 2000 but I can't comment there)

Yeah no - Appdata does NOT work like that. If you only changed stuff in the Introversion subfolder of then there is no - NO - ABSOLUTELY NO! way it has in ANY way changed the way the system works. You've either obviously done something you should do - OUTSIDE aforementioned folder, or you screwed up...

Ask a friend, Imperator - or see if you can get ahold of a Visa / Master Debit Card. Those work just as well with Paypal with no "credit" involved. They are simply withdrawal cards from your bank account - they can't be overcharged.
