Well said, MadMorgan. Set piece duels are boring.

With a smaller group, you could have a different tournament structure. How about a swiss-style pairing tournament? Everyone plays people with the same number of wins, during a fixed number of rounds? Maybe even round robin. A good suggestion. I think future tournaments should use structures intende...

My thoughts on the ideal tournament

I would like to see the following players play in a tournament with a group stage (two groups of four):
Myst, Adub, MadMorgan, Wingman317, Cyan, fonzor, xander. The eighth place contestant should be the winner of a play-in game between bert and tortisvektor.

communication regarding tournament match scheduling

"Groups A and H went without matches until yesterday, so I sent an e-mail to all members of those groups saying that anyone who still wanted to play had to report to me and I would select people based on activity." I didn't get this email, and I'm wondering if anyone else did. Also, I thin...

am I eliminated?

I tried to play my matches. I practiced on the server. I challenged my opponents and gave them my email address. I waited. Never saw any of them playing on the servers. Never heard back. Am I eliminated?

dedwinia suggestions--multiple fish bowls

To clarify, my suggestion is to replace some of the current servers with these flex servers (that switch maps based on the number of users).

dedwinia suggestions--multiple fish bowls

Hi, I think it would be great to have one dedicated CTS fishbowl, one dedicated DOM fishbowl, and one dedicated KOTH fishbowl. All the 'serious' modes. Perhaps these can be ranked (and with basic crates and not extra many crates). This would help the problem of not having enough players around. If w...

Round 1 could take a while

I've challenged my opponents on the ladderboard. I used the challenge to send them my email address so we can pick a day. A private message or email feature would be nice, but not a big deal.

I disagree. There is no such thing as 'rage-surrender'. If you are going to concede the game, surrendering would be more polite than leaving abruptly without comment.

Surrender

Cyan is correct. There should be a surrender option.

The lack thereof is particularly glaring in CTS. Multiwinia should allow eliminations on CTS when the opponent has no spawns and no men (and trails the leader by at least one capture).
