I've been playing it on my college laptop with my college's nice Internet connection. It's a blast. Unfortunately, Engineers make Scouts more or less useless on 2Fort.

Je ne sais pas si c'est possible. J'ai vu une version du jeu (excusez, s'il vous plait, mon francais. Je suis americain) en espagnole, mais je pense que cette version ait ete cree par un joueur, pas Introversion.

I love that you can infer what the maps' conflicts are (on Gravel Pit, the blue team is trying to capture the red team's ray gun! brillia...

Heavy+Medic combos are great.

Yeah, just to derail, Valve has never put out a bad product. And Medics always die first if I can help it.

I haven't tried it, but I like the game music as it is. The end of the world doesn't need bombastic music.

Movie Thread

I just saw No Country for Old Men , a movie based on a novel by the same name by Cormac McCarthy. Holy christ. Mere text cannot show the enthusiasm in my voice for this movie and words fail me. For a while after seeing it I didn't know what to do next. I just sat and surfed and tried to figure out w...

Well played. I have only one criticism:

Achilles' heel or Achilles's heel (the extra "s" is usually used for normal names, not mythological ones, but I figured I'd include it for completeness), not Achille's heel. No, I have no sense of humor. :)

What wwarnick said. It was a game with good ideas, but it should have been turn-based and the ship combat shouldn't have been a real-time affair.

Just human nature in disguise My heart is human, my blood is boiling, my brain I.B.M. So if you see me acting strangely, don't be surprised I'm just a man who needed someone, and somewhere to hide To keep me alive-just keep me alive Somewhere to hide to keep me alive Man-machine, pseudo-human being...

Eh. I kinda saw that as an inevitability. The site is still visually more appealing than MySpace, at any rate. I wish people would opt to use applications less, though. I've played Risk a few times. You really need to have other people next to you so you can have that fun banter between you and the ...
