I've been recently pretty obsessed with Memories can't wait by Talking Heads (album version is a bit better). That or the gargantuan guitar in Come In Alone (needs some good bass) by My Bloody Valentine (who have a terrible name). At least that's where my thoughts are right now, I don't think I coul...

Why isn't there an "I could care less" option? Also; I could care less. Also: Someone make Subversion for me. I swear I just recently had to link to this. Well whatever it takes to turn the tide I guess. Unless of course you have a interest, even a little bit, though I doubt that's what y...

Well me face was beaming when I saw both The Last Guardian and Valkyria Chronicles 3 come out TGS. Then even more ecstatic when the video description said Valkyria Chronicles 3 would be for the ps3.... Then a deep, deep frown when I found out they were filthy liars. [size=0]Noooooooooooooooooooooooo...

Have you ever been to an autopsy? I went to one back in school with about twenty other people, most were fine until the chest got cracked, then people were throwing and fainting all over the place. There's quite a bit of difference between a body that isn't leaking and in pieces, vs. one that is. :...

Oh I totally understand nearly all people will make such an arbitrary distinction, I just don't get the logic (probably cause it's not based on logic). This has probably gone on long enough but I don't see how you can call people illogical if they see the death of someone who signed up to fight, wa...

I love how Catan has gone from a couple of geeky kids bringing into school, to being a common uniter in our year group. It's set up on a table in the middle of our common room and because we all have free periods at different times the games roll-on no stop. I also love seeing sporty kids who dispar...

xander I'm with Feud and Xocrates on this one. We have every right to tell someone what they should and should not do, but they have a right not to listen or follow what we say. I don't see why dissent is a protected right but dissent about dissent isn't? I have every right to tell someone they're b...

I just had a thought. Ape Escape. I remember it being moderately challenging when I was a wee lad (but then again I was a wee lad) but it starts simple and the levels are such that you can go into as much depth as you want. One of the first (the first?) ps1 game to introduce analogue sticks into con...

I this would be my list. All of them classics, none of them particularly hard to play. Some a are clearly genre inspired but with a twist, some are pretty unique: Katamari Damany or We Love Katamari [ps2] (I have We Love Katamari since that came out in Aus but both are comparable): Really simple mec...

I clearly have a cultural gap with DNF. I can never get why anyone would actually want it to be released. I find it amusing as a running joke, but its ruined by someone actually releasing a half-copmtent game isntead of more of the epicness which is this.

As much as I enjoy playing Civ IV with friends, and it was a steal at the steam sale, there are a few things in Civ V which just would make it soo much better. Mainly the fact that cities have in-built defenses, you can't create ridiculous unit stacks, and non-player civs are now more than just anno...
