I guess this is probably superfluous by now, but xander. Never trust the political officer!

It seems to me that the loyal communists are executing agents at a great rate! It's only a matter of time now ...

well, it seems my uncle has been mentioned in dispatches yet _again_  Mystified, mystified, me. And clearly the word "wolf" is a reference to our submarine, the wolf of the sea, etc etc I'm going to go out on a limb and vote Bert_the_turtle[retracted]. He's always moderately suspicio...

Well that didn't stop you I didn't vote for zjoere. I only said that he'd probably paint a target on his back sooner or later. There's a difference between accusing him and expecting him to become the target of accusations. (My previous post also goes for your vote for Neo now, by the way.) Jelco [...

No offense, but I think that vote for zjoere is going a bit far. This is a time when people usually are at work or at college, and I think the latter applies to zjoere. Jelco Well that didn't stop you  :P Actually, I should have considered that. NeoThermic will put the communist cat amonst th...

Ten-hut! Firstly, I'm withdrawing my vote for Pox. Our dear comrade may have taken the Oktober values too much to heart when he rashly accused our 2nd captain, and then supported the spirit of the Internationale when following Berthold's vote, but I don't think he's a capitalist running dog pig. Rea...

Stations, Comrades! First things First - Herr Korvettenkapitän Tortel, put that bad Cherman accent away. From now on we shall all speak Scottish, it'll be easier. Next - As the Officer in charge of all things Petty, I would like to commend whichever crewmember put out the fire in the wastepaper bask...

Yeah, that russia-asia setup was quite a surprise... odds have to be pretty long to get so many in such a small sample. Also, *rams palm into face after watching replay*. *belatedly reads Pox's post, calculates* You would expect to see A/R slightly less than 3 times in the group stages (42/15). And...

Good points all re CPU: My responses - A CPU is not necessarily a pushover to every human player. Remember how difficult the CPU seemed when we first started! They have some obvious weaknesses but also some advantages e.g. reaction time in micro  We have no way of knowing for sure whether pla...

/me has a crazy suggestion ... let the people in the last group play a game each against a CPU. That's a logical extension of the Technical Difficulties rule ... and it's much quicker than all this malarkey ;)

Well to be fair there aren't always demo servers visible. They tend to fill up and disappear quite quickly and only refresh every 30 mins iirc. A possible solution is to ask Bert for a login so you can remove password protection from the Duel servers.
