It seems Bonasi (zkl) has been having connection problems - the reason we haven't seen him around, but he assures me that he should be up again in 2 or 3 days. This makes things a lot easier, since we can now delay until the weekend. As long as caranthir.pkk is fine with that, the game is off for to...

Don't even know it's going ahead yet. Best we can do is start the server and see what if Bonsai turns up. We'll have to think up a password to prevent Fake Pater ruining it for us though. And naturally not posting it on here but PMing it. But we'll deal with that tomorrow. and planning so far is 8pm...

Well, I'd prefer a proper response from Bonsai on the matter before proceding, although he has read my PM. Even so, we'll try at 8pm GMT on Wednesday (9pm London, 10pm Berlin). I'm not entirely sure of my hosting capabilities given the number of specs tournament games generally get, but Caranthir.pk...

Well, most of the specs were regulars (and semi-regulars, in the shape of the returning Weps), so private chat was not really necessary. (no worries though Sci-Fi, the reds should have been able to work out there were no silos in the main USA from their radar coverage) Also, later on Pater Punishmen...

I like to form non-standard alliances. Allying with your neighbour is, we all know, very risky. One of you is always going to be thinking of the big stab, or you'll both be so paranoid of it happening anyway you won't launch at the right time. Think of this though: as Europe, what are the immediate ...

My name's Mike. I used to just call myself that, but it wasn't really personal enough. Playing a 6-player game with another Mike, I needed some differentiation. I was known as Wookiee at universisty, due to excessive hairiness, so in a fit of unimaginitiveness (is that a word? it is now!) I just tac...

What about elephants which can launch nukes from their trunks and are bigger than whole cities? Or cities with legs? Or giving free will to silos? Or the ability to create massive whirlpools which suck everything into them in a big orgy of destruction? Or giving AIDS nukes to Africa, and H5N1-type ...

Hmm... Only Peace and Love resembles their avatar so far. Heh, that's why I'm reluctant to post, everyone says my avatar's ugly... -Rog You all know what my avatar WOULD look like, if I were bothered to set it up. I really did bear a resemblance to a big hairy lump for couple of years while ...

OK I've been trying all the continents all day, and duly failing to beaet the best. Next best was 384 with south america. This will even out the scoreboard between Rog and everyone else. So then, I finally took the place that's generally known as the best for offensive / orgazmo play, africa, the on...

Reactive defcon levels... now that tickles my fancy. Would leave time for looooooong negotiations, and if done well, could make those last-to-place-before-dropping-alliance games even nervier when some imbecile on the other side of the world can change the defcon level by attacking someone else enti...
