First off, the words are spelt "to" and "for". Also, "please." It is a lot easier to understand what you are trying to say when you articulate it clearly, with proper English. Spelling out short words is a start. So is the use of correct grammar and punctuation. As to y...

⋅ There is no reason to delete the logs on the system that you hack. It is more effective to delete the logs at one of your bounce points. Say, InterNIC. ⋅ The proxy and firewall disablers are slow. Better to get the bypassers. However, if you are still using the disablers, you ...

I did various hacks (academic change, bank balance/loan checks, bank transfer) None of which requires you to leave the connection established log in internic. Odd, cause i swear it used to catch you for doing that...course i played the 1.0 version forever and a day... I would rather eat hot coals t...

No such patch exists. Ambrosia does not own the source code for the Mac version, and the company that originally did the port (and owns the code) no longer exists. The latest rumour is that the Onlink team have been working on an update, and that they are waiting for permission from IV/ASW/Contraban...

Sigh... Please, read what I have written. I am not an idiot, and I do know what I am doing. When playing version 1.3 on a Mac, you can delete the "Connection Established" logs, and you won't get caught. My question is very simple: is this different from the Windows version? Rather than tel...

The world unites under one flag. Arms are set aside, and everyone joins hands and sings. No one would have believed in the last years of the twentieth century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own; that as men busied the...

Not sure as to that fact. I've been playing since version 1.0 and have always done the above method out of habit. If you notice though, later on there's the "Trace a Hacker" missions that you can't accept even if you have the required rating? That's because those missions are against your...

Are you deleting ALL the logs? This is actually a DON'T. Only delete the "Connection from 127.0.0.1 routed to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx". If you delete the "Connection established from 127.0.0.1" log, when you disconnect you will leave behind a disconnect log with no corresponding connect...

Are you sure that you are using it correctly? Your post doesn't really give anyone enough information to (a) help you figure out what you are doing wrong or (b) reproduce the bug, assuming it is a bug.

You are trapped in a cheesy science fiction stasis bubble. The universe goes by without you. Things change, people fall in love, and build houses and parks and monuments around your statuesque visage. However, you cannot interact with them, don't see anything happen, and are quite, quite trapped. Su...

After you have run the program, you have done everything that you need to do. You can check to make sure that it is working by heading back to the file list, and check to see that RevelationTracker is not there. It will remove itself from the list when it is running, but you don't have to check that.

If anything, the Mac version is less flexible. ASW didn't create the Mac version -- they only publish it. They didn't write the original code, they didn't port the original code, and, as far as I know, they don't even have the original code. As many of the addons available to Windows and Linux users...

You instantly transcend human intelligence, and become one of the most intelligent entities in the universe. For a while (0.001 seconds), you are happy. Then, you realize that everyone else is dumber than you, and is not worth conversing with. Five seconds later, you commit suicide. I wish I were in...

You get a robot that does your bidding. You order it to clean the bathroom, telling it to clean up the bacteria, viruses, and parasites that exist there. Having browsed the internet recently, it knows that you go by the name Parasite on this board, so it "cleans you up" with its chainsaw a...

As soon as you finish speaking your wish for a jag, a large black cat materializes in front of you, and attempts to eat your face. Stupid jaguars.

I wish I had a biplane.
