I didn't have much trouble with plague... Maybe because i usually send 5 guys to open the crates, and if the plague comes, i'll send the sick mws straight to the enemy spawn

Assault is so funny, and your idea sounds like assault mode, with every human player against a hard cpu !

Defending in assault mode is really fun to me, you have to launch your airstrikes with a good timing, and place all your ants nests strategically, it's not boring at all, imo

They are also quite hard to kill !
