So I'm in a game. I have object A. Bad Guys have object B in their lair. We all know A and B combined is going to give a clue. I enter the lair, find curious random object C right next to B. The clue given by A and B hints at object D, which for some reason I expect to be in the same room, and indee...

Many people don't realize that military and national security is pretty much above the law. Safety first, after all. It should not be that way. Freedom first. We sacrifice safety for lesser things, like individual motorized transportation. It may be different in your country, but here in Germany, m...

Probably, though it's not the usual copy-pasta, those get deleted right away. I have a bookmark watchlist for suspiciously generic first posts, this one is on it. Most of them forget to add the actual spam (or were real one post wonder users).

NeatNit, since one of your troubles seems to be that the 1/2, 1/4... subdivision of the process is arbitrary, try this different problem: Consider an idealized bouncing ball in a vacuum (no air friction). Assume the bounce is instantaneous, it skips the compression/expansion phase. But it is not los...

Yes. The messages you can display are hardcoded on the client, custom messages are not supported. I picked that one for bans because it was the closest match.

In order to help you quote correctly: Make sure the "Disable BBCode" checkbox is unticked when you quote. You probably also have set it in your profile.

And if you do get it compiled, you will not be able to play on regular servers.

Relevant thread on the Uplink dev forums if you have access, you will also have to expect difficulties with libraries.

Dunno about URI issues (probably the server does not like the way the forums check things?), but it is waaaaaay to big for an avatar anyway. It will look crappy scaled down (or, worse, not scale down at all for some), so you should scale it down first and re-host it yourself.

Hello, is there a way to make custom commands in-game (using a log-scanner right now to pick up "commands") to prevent the unknown command error from popping up? No, there are no provisions or plans for that. Also is there any way to execute commands from the console, say ban someone for ...

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ What they say. Also, pleasepleaseplease: do not reply to spam with "Spam". Especially not "lol, spam" (That last one hasn't happened lately, you can tell because there were no "accidental" bans of legitimate users). That does not help; rather, it potentially c...
