Second what Kuth says. The first few times I played the easy AI I got my ass handed to me in 5 or 6 minutes. Keep at it and if something doesn't work, try it a few more times, and if it still doesn't work try something else. Also, play the odd multiplayer game. One of the first MP games I played was...

Ah, thanks for that. I thought my machine ate them for a moment.

The only problem with the Christmaswinians is that the snowy landscape makes the selection swirl doofer a bit hard to see.

Xocrates: where in the hell does MW save the screenshots? The manual says the MW directory but I've checked there and the shots I took are missing.

I'd forgotten I had an account here. So much for lurking! http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/8531/mwt1bn8.th.jpg http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/7421/mwt2fm5.th.gif I was tempted to make the second one with an engineer that had a trail of souls behind it, but it just didn't seem as threatening as...

Question: if you wanted to play it standalone, then why didn't you just buy it standalone? I was going to buy Uplink/DEFCON via Steam, until my Steam started messing me about. I haven't been able to play any of my Steam games for a couple of weeks. If you ask me, you're wiser buying standalone in th...

Huge map, but the new models were great. As for the Viiri, a string of darwinians doesn't fit in too well: if you wanted to change it you could use a short string of text or something instead. The pencils were pretty cool though: nothing to make you run away like a pencil flying at you point first :...

Voted twice!

If I win that stash I'll be so happy: I'm looking at a mega-expensive upgrade for my machine when my AGP graphics card becomes obsolete

Bit of a wordy install problem...

Alright, so I wandered into a shop and saw Darwinia for £5.99. I couldn't resist. I tried to install the game, but the first time the progress bar ran up to 100%, and then I got a message saying the InstallShield program had encountered a fatal error and had to exit. The installation didn't work. Th...

I'm surprised it wan't Orange bunny on the Nuke though, I always thought he was the one with the penchant for blowing things up.
