So let me get this straight... People who have purchased things from IntroVersion or Valve and have not had their ID stolen, and have not heard of anyone else who had that happen, and have not seen it on the news (something like this WOULD make the news, atleast on gaming sites) shouldn't try to tel...

Have you (or someone you know) had your identity stolen simply because you made a purchase from a widely trusted website/company?

Have they said anything about expansions ;)

I wouldn't mind seeing them do cheap DEFCON "mods" sold as expansions. Stuff like the space combat mod a dev suggested to modders as long as they were far more than simple graphical tweaks and actually offered different gameplay situations..

How about you find a great publisher for them that will get the game in stores and give IntroVersion the cut they deserve for it rather than ask most of the money for themselves? That'd sort it. And no, buying from IntroVersion or via Valve's Steam doesn't increase your chances of ID theft unless yo...

Why yes, IntroVersion is a secret terrorist organisation that needs to steal your records in order to achieve world domination! They are not the awesome independent developer that needs every sale they can get to keep making their awesome games as they appear. Trust noone!

You can leave by yourself and not waste others' time alongside your own. I thought that this thread could be meaningful and didn't like the way Zarkow responded but all your comments crashed it. All I can say at this point is that it's a shame one of your kind brought the subject up as imo it is a s...

Defcon redefines the (rts) genre. I don't think 3D graphics would make any difference. They would either have to make the gameplay complex/realistic which would mean it wouldn't have the same charm as now, or they would keep the gameplay the same which would mean the 3D graphics were just a gimmick....

No, I don't mean Missile Command with DEFCON graphics, I mean DEFCON with Missile Command gameplay elements.

Missile Command mod. The game remains similar to now but over-simplified and made all-action with you having to shoot down the nukes coming your way by yourself. Perhaps even aiming your own nukes worms-style. Just for the hell of it. Galactic Combat mod. Another great idea we've had at IV for a tot...

People cheat because they are turds that want to win no matter what. They do that whether there is stat-tracking or not. No cheat protection can be 100% fool proof but that doesn't mean Defcon is as insecure as your insulting tone tries to make it appear, and it definitely doesn't mean that if there...
