pretty sure... I followed all the directions in the first page of this thread and the camera backwards movement is still keyed to 's', where I want it keyed to 'x' This is what's in en_UK now, located in Computer>C: drive > Program Files > Multiwinia > Data > Input > Keyboards CameraLeft = key q pre...

My real question was something along the lines of "how far do you estimate for the map editor's completion?" and "What still needs to be finished for it?" but these are answers likely under NDA, and nothing I can help with. Frankly I feel the map editor would do better at helping...

Has anyone worked out control changes for 1.3? Big fingers do not like using 's' to move the camera backwards, and following the tutorial yields no results.

Is the map editor expected to come out after D+? I find that the stock maps for Multiwinia are getting a little stale... there's only so many times I'm inclined to play the few 2v2 maps, and the only 4-player map I've seen played online is 'the Holy Tree'. I feel with the map editor released, there ...

Yeah that's what fixed the problem...

...which is odd, because this account is supposed to have administrative privileges. I didn't think I'd need to 'run as administrator' on an administrative profile, but I guess that's the case?

Multiwinia crashing on auto-update

It didn't have this problem before, but ever since I switched to another Vista profile (certain problems making this necissary), Multiwinia has been crashing at the auto-update every time I've tried to run it. I'm running Windows Vista, 32 bit. Graphics card is a GeForce 8300 GS. Ram is 3070mb. I've...

'Carbombing' is a skill that takes discriminate attention to master. It is a mark of a veteran, or someone with adequate ambition (or desperation).

Ants may be difficult to defeat when placed in the middle of magical forests, but they are no longer virtually unbeatable like they were immediately after release.

Well, since I practically live on the Relicnews forums (Makers of Homeworld), I feel I should chip in here :D Homeworld is, to my knowledge, the only 3D Real Time Strategy game that gives you the Z axis of movement... that is... up and down. Big stuff back in '99 when it first came out. The story wa...

The "Others" (Futurewinians, Evilwinians) are really only a problem if you let them capture a spawn point. But as Mas said, they're immune to flame. This means they can walk through burning forests OK, and flame turrets and napalm won't hurt them. Are they immune to soul destroyers and ant...

What constitutes a 'contribution', exactly? I've done a torrent of T-shirt designs for the multiwinia contest, created backgrounds for the pre-Defcon release crowd, and done some Mods for Defcon. Now, I don't think this as significant as Beta Testing or Forum moderating, but would it count for the p...

Be honest about old and new video games and what you think of them. One of my favorite games is called "Outpost 2" from 1996 or thereabouts. The Starfleet command series started in 1999 and that's my favorite kind of game (space simulator). The latest game I've purchased for the PC recent...

I've never been much to play real multiplayer matches with other folks... usually it's singleplayer. But maybe with this ap on my desk, I'll give MP a try again.
