With this mod you can create a huge bounce chain then save it (saved bounce chains are remembered between sessions). If you want to connect to a target load the chain and click the target server. If the target server is already part you chain then just click it twice, this removes it from the chain...

You have to move to the usr directory first using the cd command.

You shouldn't need to memorise it. You should be able to click on it just below the name/password box. Unless it was fixed with the last patch or it is a problem specific to my computer, only one password gets saved for a lan system. And given that they've hacked a terminal before to get the modem ...

1. After you've done the voice recogntion, you can disconnect from the system and reconnect, and the voice recognition will still have been passed. This resets the countdown.

2. After you've cracked the password once memorise it. Then you can just type it in.

Reinstallation isn't a cure-all, you know.

Besides, if you look in the bug reporting forum the issue is being investigated and there is a temporary fix that might let you play in the meantime.

I've had a lan where the locks guarding the main server weren't unlockable by anything, and none of the terminals had a modem number, so unless I missed something LAN force was a necessity.

1.4 Bugs

Since updating to 1.4, clicking in the hard disk button (to see the files on my gateway) causes Uplink to crash. This happens both for existing and new agents. I have sent error log via the error reporter thingo.
