Armor, armor, armor. Armor. Armor. Use it. More tricks: Don't ever run right at a turret. If your guys run right at it, they tend to form a line. The bullets don't stop when they hit one of them, so they just go right down the line, getting huge numbers of kills. Zig-Zag, or try to use hills as cove...

I think they did) Georgia began bombing them, hitting civilian targets (This part I can't find mu...

In my limited experience in game development, I have learned a few things. I am a coder. Not the best coder in the world, but I have worked on mods and some other small projects. So, oftentimes people try to recruit me for some project or other. I found it's really easy to tell if it will ever go an...

I would like to say I have thought about the usability/complexity problem a lot. My two cents: Depth. A good game is about depth. You can play the game without knowing much, but you can improve drastically. A good example is Starcraft. The basic idea is pretty simple. Build a base, build units, atta...

I find this incredibly annoying, to be honest. Oftentimes I would launch bombers, and they would all end up in one carrier, and not many of them would have nukes. Is it possible for the bombers, when looking for a spot to land, to take into account the airfield/carriers health, distance, the bombers...

Hmm. Do you think they will ever release the Darwinia source code, like they did for Uplink? And if there was some sort of way to write to the .txt files from the game, dynamically, this sort of stuff might be possible. Like, have a script or program or something that runs in the mod, that lets you ...
