The way I see it, this would be possible in PA if we got a system to deliver food to cells and a system that allows us to suppress the family need through ruling with an iron fist. You could of course buy it from prison-architect.co.uk, but there's no guarantee it'll work. I don't know which glibc version Lion runs. I imagine it would be recent enough, but to be sure you might want to check if it is at least version 2.15, as I think it's the biggest hurdle in running PA on it....

If you are still having this problem,it would be good to save it and upload it somewhere. I would personally enjoy taking a look at your save and if it turns out it is a bug, the bug report will be much more valuable with the save.
