Saw the previews PC Gamer had (great marketing from the Introversion guys) and had to buy it. Also saw Darwinia before release at a games trade show where (I believe) Chris showed me how to play it. Now have all three available games, and am eagerly awaiting the release of Multiwinia.

What graphics card and drivers are you using? There seems to be a similar problem with other games, so it's probably graphics drivers related.

It isn't just about stopping pirates playing online, but will also stop pirates playing offline if their computer is connected to the Net when they launch the game. And once a key is found to be stolen, that will be added to the database to be disabled.

With UT2004, you can be banned from playing online based on your game key. While you can still play offline, it could easily be modified to prevent this too. Maybe Darwinia could use a game key, and when the game is launched it could check for a Net connection, and if it finds one check the key agai...
