In my experience, paying the full ammount up front pretty much guarantees you a console on release date. It's also hilarious to walk past the line of idiots who spend 2 days outside the store waiting in tents, and receiving your Wii upon showing your receit. Without the wait.

My guess about Subversion: get your Darwinians in the enemy's servers through an Uplink interface, get your little green dudes to hack the server to get access to their nukes, then launch them at the enemy's own country.

Good points, but the difference between the E6400 and E6600 is that the 6600 has 4MB, and the 6400 2MB cache. I have already read a couple of benchmarks that show that there is barely any improvements there (if the 6400 is clocked to 6600 speeds). Think of the difference (or lack thereof) with 512MB...

It will work in any game where people want to play in teams because they can't stand the pressure of diplomacy mode. And I think those will stick around for a loooooong time.

Keep a group of subs of the coast of your ally. When the victory timer starts and reaches 15 minutes or so, rush all your nukes to their cities, and leave the alliance when your nukes are halfway there. Easy points, and you'll win!

For example, where it says "4.1 million died" when a nuke hits, I want it to read something else. Where do I look?
