Introversion Multiwinia Servers
Hello all, A bit of backstory before I run into the question. A few years ago I ran a huge set of Multiwinia servers on my home PC (eight at the time, 4 demo 4 retail). They were moderately popular, enough that I was asked by IV if I'd be willing to move them to the IV servers to give them a bit mor...

Nah, the pagination isn't actually maintained internally. It will only start to break when post IDs get to the limits of their storage, which in phpBB (I believe) is a unsigned mediumint in MySQL, which is 3 bytes. So as long as we don't do more than 2^24 = 16,8 million posts, we'll be fine. That's...

For all people who have seen Inception: awesomeness . Jelco Ah, yes. A comic that was part of The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck Companion , released in 2006, was inspiration for a movie who's script was written in 2001. Cause we all know Nolan has access to a time machine and all... ;) NeoThermic

Can I make a quick request to the regulars, as it stands right now I'm not able to frequent the boards very often. Thus I'd like it if the first person to see a spam post pops me a pm and then follows the spam topic up to say they've done so, this'll help me immensely
Thanks!

Re: EAM (Emergency Action Message) authentication?
How are EAMs such as the ones used on nuclear submarines secured? If its just a piece of paper with a bunch of codes on it .. doesn't that too become the weakest link? [...] But I suppose since somehow has to physically print out, store, and handle those authentication codes couldn't there be a hum...

Given that would mean, quite literally, to tear it apart piece by piece: No. What laptop is it? There's few laptops that would require a total teardown just to clean the fan, which if it's overheating I'm going to wager is the root cause. Even my old HP laptop wasn't too difficult to take apart: ht...

thus any cheat that would work in single player games would also work in multi-player games. Not to dilute your correct point, being utterly pedantic, not quite. In theory in single player, the only client that matters WRT not falling out of sync is the player. On multiplayer, however, there's n cl...

Ok, so I managed to push the price down to £683 by cutting out office, and choosing a slightly cheaper (but not as cheap and crap as before) case. I've got enough to spend on a monitor I think now. What case? Anyway, if you're prepared to push the budget a tad, I can't recommend anything less than ...
