and secondly Crypter has nothing what so ever
to do with Uplink or the gamebibles.

You could start on the lessions at nehe.gamedev.net, there you can learn how to use OpenGL, and also how to detect mouse clicks in your application.

But there's no easy way to this, you'll need to actualy learn something. :)

It should be possible to compile it under WinXP, perhaps with some
minor modifications, but I can't say for sure last time I use/developed
bits of the code (the file reading/writing) it compiled allright, however
it didn't produce the desired result

oh.. and please state where you "lend" the Code. Don't Think that I can't recognize my own scribblings, eventhough it was back in late October last year. well no hard feelings yet.... I think I do deserve some or at least a tiny bit of credit for the hours I spent writing those three files...

Some are actualy good looking

but not with much real funtionality, it's kindda fun
to see how Uplink went through a few different Ideas
and designs, still all had the basic blue color to it. :)
