Hmm... I have a vote, so it's in my interests to ensure that I don't end up with the most. So, NeoThermic or edd8990? I'm obviously tempted to go for edd, for tradition, but NT was so keen to play, so I have a niggling suspicion he might have been rewarded with a choice role... When does day end?

It's tempting to vote for Mas Tnega just to stop him ever attempting another text-accent :D

Anyways, wouldn't edd have been too pissed to slaughter someone? Although, I don't think Ozy meant to prejudice us with the storyline, so I'll leave my options open.

Did we ascertain if it was the guys job to send food to that country or not? If it was then he should be fired for being a dick. I'm sure he ignored a country because he was foaming about how all jews must die... and that that country is the world. Well, the discussion kinda petered out after sbm c...

Nice article, the difference being he uses the method to learn and discuss and you use it to destroy and kill discussion, by your own admission. You have taken the method, scratched out the whole idea behind it and turned it in to a weapon. Good for you. And your snide littler insults are ever-prese...

But it does not spotlight flaws in an argument! It can spotlight flaws in a philosophical argument because they exist irrespective of external factors. When an argument exists with a whole world of external factors, it is quite different. I have said all along that you come up with bizarre points th...

Read the article, "this debating style is an effective way to win almost any argument". That's essentially it's purpose, to 'win'. Not to take views in to account, to discuss, it's aim is to allow you to 'win'. Socrates was not looking at the argument on its merits, his method was meant simply to tr...

Except for the fact that the Socratic method is basically designed for philosophical debate in which there are no contexts or constraints, and is seemingly used for the main purpose of destroying argument. That makes it a very detrimental tool for political debate, as far from encouraging views, dis...

I tend to use a rather Socratic method in many of my arguments I decided to look up in more detail exactly what constitutes the socratic method. Once you get through all the stuff about the socratic educational method and lots of monty python references, you can hit on some very interesting things,...

Confusion is most definitely your most trusted ally... You will confuse the issue until no-one can tell what the hell is happening. This is why I repeat and push on, because otherwise you swamp it and hide your lies, deception and falsehoods in the mess. There have been less than 1 million abortions...

First off, your use of "proof" is highly selective. What you did was nothing resembling "proof". It resembled something that you could no longer deny and piles of evidence that you had deliberately and repeatedly lied. It resembled proof that your statements were false and you were trying to hide i...

There were some seriously delicious bits of irony in that long piece on why sbm is so great (written by himself). My choice pieces are: My idea is to stay as close to the facts as I can. You were proven to be lying about your 'facts' mere days ago... This is of course hard, but I think it is worth t...

Surely it would be better for you to keep your religion, your girlfriend to keep hers, and let your children decide when they come of age what they want to be. That's the thing, she doesn't really have any religious beliefs. She was a staunch atheist, but that was before I got my hands on her. The ...

Not looking very hard I suppose. . . That is part of their report that goes into a great deal of detail about the problems. Funnily enough, your 51% figure is still a mystery to me. The report doesn't seem to say what you claim it does. Have you drawn it out of the data that is there, because I'm s...

No chance of starting at the beginning of next month so we're all finished exams?
