Re: Menu Features (saved games)
You can currently sort save games by name and date by clicking on the title in the top of the list of save games.

Re: Upcoming feature : Mod support
Hey, I did a quick test. I made a mod with the following layout: │ manifest.txt │ └───data │ materials.txt │ └───language base-language.txt materials.txt contained everything in the regular materials.txt, with your additions of contraband from the laundry. base-language.txt is as follows: # ========...

Re: Upcoming feature : Mod support
You should be able to do that. Have you made the manifest file? And activated the mod in the game? If so, can you paste the language string from the file you made here for us?

Re: Upcoming feature : Mod support
You can mod the fornames.txt and surnames.txt files, which will modify the names of generated prisoners (that are newly joining a prison. I don't think it will modify those in a saved prison...), but not the Name in the Game tier prisoners (custom prisoners). People paid for their name to be in the ...

robly18: At the moment, you can't put in your own objects. It is something we're thinking about though. Fishbus: The problem you're having is that the game can't link your published mod on Computer A to your unpublished mod on Computer B. When you publish a mod, the game adds a few lines (namely Fil...

Re: Steam workshop - Can't upload Prison
Are you trying to upload to a prison of the same name? Did you manually delete any files in the Steam folders, rather than using the Steam Workshop? Can you write down the exact process you are trying, so that we can try to reproduce it?

Re: "[SteamWrapper] Cannot run in development mode."
steam_appid.txt should not exist in that folder. Please delete it. If you uninstall Prison Architect, delete everything in that directory, and then redownload, do you get that file again? If so, it's a problem with the build package that we will need to sort out.

Re: "[SteamWrapper] Cannot run in development mode."
Can you list the files in your "Steam/SteamApps/common/Prison Architect" folder for me? You should only have main.dat, Prison Architect.exe, SDL.dll, sounds.dat, and steam_api.dll.

Re: Alpha16: Steam workshop broken (cant download)
You need to subscribe to a mod in the Steam Workshop, run the game, and then let it download the mods you have subscribed to. This isn't an instantaneous operation, and may take some time (we have to wait for Steam to download the files, we have no control over it). Obviously you can't be running St...

Re: Upcoming feature : Mod support
I might have an idea that if you subscribed to your own mod, and then unsubscribed, it might delete it. If you unsubscribe from someone else's mod, it deletes it from your local drive (so that it doesn't reappear in your list), but it shouldn't do this with your own mods. For now, please avoid subsc...

Re: "[SteamWrapper] Cannot run in development mode."
Do you have any extra files in your Prison Architect folder? What does the first line of your debug.txt file read? It should say about the version of the game.

Re: Upcoming feature : Mod support
The game really shouldn't delete your local data. At all. Ever. Out of interest, did you subscribe to your own mod?

Re: Mod Database
Hey, just wanted to say that I'm sure they are trying to get through all the emails, but it is the Christmas period, and there aren't that many people working at IV. Looking at their past games, there have always been mod sites (mostly done by Icepick), so I wouldn't think they would mind you making...

The pictures are hosted on the devwiki, which is only available to people who have bought the alpha. And as such, you need to log into the wiki (just the first login, you don't need a wiki account) before you can view the images.
