Re: (Suggestion) Name In The Game

Re: Explain the needs system?
Needs are given to prisoners when they are generated, so only when they arrive at your prison. Existing prisoners have their needs saved in the save file and are never re-generated. Existing prisoner's needs are saved to keep track of their need levels, etc.

Re: Updating a mod via steam
Thanks Pruvan. MiriW, do you have a debug log from when you are trying to publish the mod? I'm just curious if there is anything failing in the update process? Cheers elDiablo Edit - FYI: The mod file on Steam is 616 bytes, and all files in it are 0 sized, which is why I'm thinking there is somethin...

Re: Problems with GetNearbyObjects
Sorry, my bad. TypeName is the Object type's name to get. This is the name given in the Object list from materials.txt. Things like, "Workman", "Toilet", "Visitor", etc. You can see the full list of default item names in the ObjectRequired section of the Material mod sc...

Re: Anyone been able to add functional staff?
Can you post the entity description from your materials.txt for the SysAdmin please? Are you setting them to an entity?
Edit: Totally didn't see your post before mine. Sorry about that.

Re: Upcoming feature : Mod support
Yep, just call any grants you want to override the same as the base ones, and the first mod to load will override it.

Got any graphical mods active? I'm guessing they haven't yet been updated to A17 (as the sprite sheet is constantly changing...).
