Metal detectors are really worth the money (both cost and wiring) to keep them clean. When I'm between projects waiting on buildings I'll even randomly search people. I never let prisoners cook so keep them outta there. They cause enough trouble everywhere else. The bagofoats (:P) is correct deploym...

Long Answer: Ya it's really a British way of speaking, as in the US regime refers to a political form or hierarchy. I studied English in a private school, so we learned specifics such as oxford commas and the use of words beyond normal scopes. I too would normally refer to the timing as a regimen; ...

Personally I'd recommend getting it now. There's a small tutorial story, and as was said there will probably be more. As for the endless mode, it is a simulator after all. Games like Sims/SimCity keep going till you royally screw up or start over. There's always different ways to do things and every...

Well I know how/where to find the planning graphic images, but what I can't find is a place to modify the green overlay when you're drawing out the room. When placing a foundation the green is a different shade; when doing the planning, it's too bright and it's very hard to see the size numbers. I c...

Regarding GUI

So I've noticed that in the data there are the images for the ui and such, along with grants etc. While that's great I noticed that for planning and building foundation it's a graphic, but with a color overlay. I've looked around the forums and didn't notice anything about it, but I'd love to change...

Idk about lucky, I think if steam sees profit they'll agree to it. I run programming company in addition to my main work; and I've already been told by steam that as long as my pre-orders are only for the full game they'll allow it as early as alpha provided it's working to a "reasonable" ...

I actually like the LPs, but I don't watch YT I watch Twitch.tv cus I like the live streaming. I haven't lately, but I usually could get a couple hundred at a time. Watching someone doing something you aren't doing in real time can be rather addicting. Even if it's just the social aspect. Though per...

2. Prison Architect is Alpha. The very first stage of a game that actually CAN be put on steam is Beta... First he did say he extracted it and it didn't start, right there that should tell you he probably doesn't meet the requirements. I know these questions are annoying, but if I told off every pe...

For me it's been a combination of the two things people already mentioned. Space and Prisoner count; My cell blocks attach to showers and mess so there's limited "going outside" time. The yard itself is enclosed, and next to that my free room, both of which enclosed again inside a fenced a...

It's happened to me a few times, really annoying. There's 2 things to note: First make sure you don't build against the border, sometimes they get stuck. Even building against another wall can be risky atm. Next, patience. I've found it works best, you can try cancelling the build then restarting it...

From what I've seen the previous posts are correct, pack it without compression in .rar format.
It looks for the archive like format. Also, if you're trying to mod something, as was said;
simply make the right sub-directories, the game will look for the files in folders first.

Quite honestly I understand the change, so if they could either add the staff only option back, or at least set it up so that the work crew has keys. Idc if a guard is needed to open a door for janitors etc. But I'm sick of having a guard from across the prison run to open a door cus I need a light ...

Wow, a topic I thought would get NO replies since it's so generally pointless, got to 9 pages. I've been going through *most* of the posts, as this last couple of pages are useless. But I did go through them, hello again and thanks to all of you for dropping in and saying hi! :D But as you can see f...
